MEAR ONE coined the term Metaphysical Surrealism to define his multidimensional aesthetic rooted in philosophical exploration, political resistance, futurism, and the suppressed mythologies of ancient civilizations. The works comprising this newest body of oil and acrylic paintings are a channel for complex thoughtforms and hyper-dimensional storytelling, seeking truth through a synthesis of symbolism, sacred geometry, and visual prophecy. Metaphysical Surrealism first debuted at the Museum of Graffiti during Art Basel Miami in 2023, before traveling to Denver the following year. We are currently in production for the third leg of this touring body of work, reimagined.
